William Henry Morrow

William H. Morrow was born on February 3, 1945, to the late Sarah Morrow and Van Griffin.  He departed his life on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina. At an early age he joined Hickory Hill United Methodist Church located in Smoaks, South Carolina.

William (Butch) was a graduate of New Uhrecht High School in Brooklyn, New York.  Later in life he attended Orangeburg Technical College where he majored in Engineering.  He was employed for 15 years at Teleydne Industries and also employed at Dayco Corporation for 10 years. William was a lifelong member of the Masonic Brotherhood. William had an avid love for performing as a Musical DJ and his handle was “The Butch Morrow Affair”. 

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Morrow and Robert Morrow

William leaves to cherish his memories one sister, Mary P. Walters (Ronald) of Ehrhardt, SC; one son, William L. Morrow of Louisville, KY; three daughters, Victoria Morrow of Queens, NY, Britney White and Chasside White both of Walterboro, SC; six grandchildren, Hakeem M. Morrow, Remmi M. Morrow, Tatiana Canselo, Mia Canselo, Nia Canselo, Xenas Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
