Tyrone Davonte Middleton was born on April 30, 1993, to Tyrone Benard Middleton (who preceded him in death) and Danelle Latrice McPherson Middleton. He departed this earthly life on July 30, 2025, at Trident Medical Center Surrounded by his loving family. Tyrone was known by many aliases…some being Vonte, Taeda, and Bando to name a few. No matter which one you called him, he’d answer them all.
Tyrone was no stranger to hard work, having held down many different job titles. He was also a devoted member of St. Paul CME Church. As a husband and a father, he enjoyed attending services with his family. Tyrone, more popularly known as Vonte, was a natural comedian finding humor in any situation. His family often referred to him as a street lawyer because he could talk his way out of any situation. De’Vonte could tell you an elaborate story with a straight face, not blinking an eye. We’d frequently say…If ever in trouble, we would want Vonte to defend us.
Vonte was an uncomplicated man. Playing baseball with the family; watching football or shooting a game of pool with fellas in Uncle Nate’s pool room; or playing a friendly game of Spades or 3-5-9 brought him immense joy. He also loved to go fishing or play kickball with mom and sisters, Lacey and the kids. Spending time with family is what he valued most. We’ll miss his 4 AM wake up calls and those 2 am morning chats. To know him was to love him.
Members from both his mother’s and father’s side of the family will be waiting at heaven’s gate to meet him. .but the most lovingly anticipated guest will be his father, Tyrone Bernard Middleton.
He is survived by Tearria Washington Middleton and their son Tyrone Davonte Middleton Jr. Those left to reflect on his wonderful legacy and precious memories are Mother Danelle Latrice McPherson Middleton, fiancé Lacy Bright and their daughter Zariyah Middleton and her siblings that he embraced as his own, his daughters Naziyah Washington, Nariyah Middleton, Grandmother Mamie Lou Ferguson, Grandfather John A.
