Mrs. Tasha Smith Ferguson’s life was ordained according to God ‘s purpose and specific time on July 31, 1978.
A Time to Educate: Tasha attended Colleton County public schools. She received her high school diploma from Walterboro High School graduating with honors. After high school, she attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude), Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia on her way to becoming a Certified Public Accountant.
A Time to Serve: Tasha committed herself to serving God all the days of her life. She was a member of Cumberland United Methodist Church, where she was baptized under the leadership of the late Reverend N. A. McClendon. After relocating to Greenville, South Carolina, she attended Valley Brook Baptist Church under the guidance of Pastor Curtis L. Johnson.
A Time to Love: Tasha met the love of her life, Mr. Lorenzo Ferguson, who she married. To continue her service, Tasha along with her husband joined New Mercies Christian Church, Lilburn, Georgia under the spiritual guidance of Pastor Jesse L. Curney III.
A Time to Depart: At the age of 47, Tasha Renee Smith Ferguson entered into eternal rest at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parental and maternal grandparents.
A Time for Those Left to Cherish: Those left to cherish her precious memories are her husband, her two daughters. Her loving parents, her sister, brothers and sister-in-law.
She is also survived by her father-in-law, mother-in-law and brother-in-laws. She was a blessed aunt to her nieces, nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends that she loved dearly.
