Sophia Floneshia Brown “Missy” transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, in Beaufort, South Carolina. Sophia was born on July 26, 1985, to the late Donna Brown and Donald Earl Green, Sr. in Walterboro, South Carolina.
She grew up in the Jonesville Community in the home of her loving and caring Great Grandparents, Katherine and Abraham Williams. Sophia attended the public schools in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Sophia was a dental assistant at the Dental Office in Walterboro, South Carolina. She later became a home caregiver to many patients in the Beaufort Area.
She was a loving and caring mother to her only child Zariya Brown, who was the apple of her eye. She loved to joke and have fun and after she would laugh and say, “That’s Ridiculous.” Her favorite color was purple.
Her memories will forever be cherished by her daughter, Zariya Brown of Beaufort, SC; loving and attentive uncle, Harold Frasier of Yemassee, SC; brothers, Donald Green, Jr, and Brian Brown of Yemassee, SC; sister, Sherree Brown of Athens, GA; grandparents, Margaret and Samuel Green of Yemassee, SC; aunts, Linda Brown Pringle of Yemassee, SC, Katherine (Nathaniel) McBride of Seabrook, SC, Loretta Brown of Maryland, Doris Cooper of Charleston, SC and Mary Lee (Hamp) Jamison of Charleston, SC; uncles, Ronald Brown of Yemassee, SC; Clarence (Izena) Baxter of Charleston, SC and Thaddeus (Deloris) Shaw of Barkerville, SC and many cousins and friends.
