Shirley Bodison Copeland

Mrs. Shirley Bodison Copeland was born on December 27, 1963, in Walterboro, South Carolina to the late Coretha Wiggins Bodison and Robert Bodison. After a brief illness, she transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at her residence.

She attended the public schools of Colleton County.  In 1993, Shirley was united in Holy Matrimony to Rick Copeland. 

Shirley was a lady who loved life and all it had to offer.  She was the life of party and never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Copeland and parents, Coretha Wiggins Bodison and Robert Bodison.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memories, three sisters, Gloria Bodison and Francis E. Bodison Lewis both of Walterboro, SC and Vanessa Bodison of Savannah, GA; three brothers, Robert Wiggins and James Bodison both of Walterboro, SC and Herbert L. Bodison of Jacksonville, FL; one aunt, Edith Green of Ruffin, SC; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
