"Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me; once was lost but now I'm found, was blind but now I see. T'was grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace m fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed." On Saturday: March 13, 2021; almost one year after the transition of his beloved wife, Sara: Reverend William Henry Chatham, exchanged time for eternity. A resident of Walterboro, South Carolina: Reverend Chatham (85) has lived a life of faith and love, that has been demonstrated thru his devotion to his ministry, God, his family and community. His life-living will leave an impact that shall be forever embraced by his loving children, grandchildren, family, church members and friends.
As the final arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Koger's Mortuary Service; the family will receive visitors on Wednesday: March 17, 2021; 2:30 P.M. The homegoing celebration of life will immediately follow beginning at 3:00 P.M. in the sanctuary of Sandy Dam United Methodist Church, 3422 Charleston Hwy. Walterboro, South Carolina. The interment and final rites to follow in the church cemetery. (In an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19 and protect the public health; facial masks and social distancing practices will be strongly enforced.)
