Raymond Ford, Sr

Raymond ford was born May 26, 1951, to the late Nisha Mae Ford and Harvey Ford in Colleton County. He transitioned from this earthy life on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

He was educated in the Colleton County School District.

Raymond worked as a cement finisher for over 40 years ending his career at Jennings Concrete Contractors where he retired in 2023.

He was preceded in death by his beloved long-time partner, Carla Roberta Jennings, with whom he shared many years and two children.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Lee Ford; four sons, Raymond Ford, Aaron Ford, Delray Ford and Amari Ford; one daughter, Jessica Ford all of South Carolina; two brothers, Harvey Lee Ford (Marilyn) of New York and Henry Ford (Lorraine) of Virginia; aunts, Colette Bellinger and Louise Haynes; one sister-in-law, Gloria Dukes of Walterboro, SC;  one brother-in-law, Johnie Dukes (Francina) of Columbia, SC;  eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
