Quincy Copeland Obituary

Mr. Quincy Hosea Copeland, 54,of Savannah GA; passed away on September 22, 2021.

Quincy was born on Jan 25th, 1967 in Williams SC, to the late Lonnie B Copeland and Sarah Jane Warren. At young age he joined Ashton Branch Christian Church. Soon to become a member of Beulah Baptist Church. While attending Ruffin High School he was a member of the Future Farmers of America graduating in 1985.

After graduation, Quincy would go on to impact the workforce with dedication and accountability. Befriending and spreading love and generosity to countless people. This happened to catch a young lady’s eye. He met the love of his life, Joyce Marie Johnson in April of 1995. They would soon marry on Oct 21, 1995. This union would unite four children: Latasia Capers (Brandonne), Johnathan Williams, Ashton Johnson, and Kyieshia Crews. This union would also bring about four adored grands: Ja’ir Doctor, Key ‘Aira Williams, Bri’Asia Capers, and Ashlynn Johnson.

Quincy was a force of nature, a loving husband and father, determined to provide for his family and gave them the life he felt he deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his life and the many accomplishments and bonds he formed.

Quincy was also passionate about football, a diehard Cowboys fan, cooking, traveling, fishing, dancing, singing, intrigued about how things worked, working on cars, and experiencing new and exciting endeavors. He made sure to spread as much knowledge as he possibly could. Lending a hand and using this to spend quality time with everyone.

Quincy predeceased by his Mother, Father, one sibling Gary Copeland, a dear Aunt Alice Warren, and son-in- law. He is survived by three brothers Lonnie B. Copeland Jr., Sherry Copeland, William Copeland, Two sisters Cynthia Copeland Brisbane (Tyrone) and Stephina Copeland-Williams. One niece Ebony Parker, Three nephews Antwan Brisbane, Pierre Brisbane, and Wayland Parker (Jasmine). A host of other relatives that include first cousins, one living aunt, close dear friends.
