Mr. Peter Nixon, Jr., the son of Peter Nixon, Sr and the late Eula Bell Jenkins was born on November 17, 1971, in Walterboro, South Carolina. He departed this earthly life on Friday February 23, 2024 at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Peter affectionately known as “SweetPete” or “Pete”, was educated in the Colleton County Public School System. Pete had a love for car racing. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. Pete had an unconditional love for his family. He lovingly called all his children “Ma” and “Daddy” and didn’t play about his beloved grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two sisters; Shirley Parker and Rebecca Nixon, two brothers; Jasper Jenkins and Keeno Nixon along with baby Jenkins.
He leaves to cherish his memories with his father; Peter Nixon, Sr., his loving wife; Rita Nixon, two sons; Peter Nixon, III and Adrian Nixon, two sons he raised as his own; Keion & Jameek Daniels, three daughters; Alexis Nixon (Kentrell), Malaysia Nixon, and Aneea Nixon. Four brothers; Vondell Sanders, Timothy Nixon (Melissa), Sharod Nixon, Jeremy Nixon, seven sisters; Brenda Jenkins, Doretha Jenkins, Teretha Parkers, Cheryl Lewis, Victoria Ancrum, Norlissa Nixon, grandchildren; Kayvion Jackson, Kayziah Jackson, Kalaliah Jackson, Knowledge Jackson, Onyx Daniels, Saa’id Daniels, Selah Daniels, Kadence Daniels, Kaine Daniels, Paisley Nixon, Marcel Nixon, Kross DuBois, a very special best friend Frank Stephens, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
