The Essence of Her Life
Ms. Shanice Renee’ Dantzler-Williams, daughter of Mr. Randall Williams and Miss Stephanie Dantzler, was born March 28, 1994. Reared and educated in Colleton County, Shanice graduated from Colleton County High School, class of 2012. Upon receiving her diploma, Shanice went to further her studies at South Carolina State University of Orangeburg, South Carolina. She would go on to receive a bachelor’s degree in accounting and then enroll in Georgia Southern University to pursue her Master’s in Accounting. Shanice was gainfully employed by Colleton County Finance Department and served as an Account Manager. Recently, she started her own company/brand, “Thee Shanice Renee” Collection and Creative Designs.
Shanice was a member of the Word for Life Ministries, where she served God diligently and whole heartedly. Active in service and loving people, she was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She joined the sorority in Spring 2021. She was affectionately known in Delatland as Xquisite Diva (12). Although she appeared to be very shy, Shanice was a very ambitious individual. Her light not only shined around those in her normal circle, but it also shined bright all across the community and wherever she was.
On Sunday, May 8, 2022, Shanice, along with her mother and sister, Stephanie and Miranda, traded time for eternity and departed from this earthly shore. Preceding her in death is her grandfather, Lawrence Dantzler and Step-grandfather, Julius Simmons.
Left to cherish her memories are: father, Randall Williams, sisters, Britney (Tommy) Bromell and Samone Williams; grandmothers, Betty R. Simmons and Sallie Williams; uncles, Eric Dantzler, Darin Dantzler and Jerome (Emily) Williams; aunts, Doretha Wadlington, Martha Rivers, Gloria Williams, Deidra (Marcus) Alexander and Sharon Williams; step-aunts, Sandra (Abraham) Young and Barbara (Sinclair) Ancrum; step-uncles, Julius (Deneta) Simmons, Jr.; special friend of twelve years, Raheim Campbell; along with a host of numerous other relatives, line sisters, co-workers, class mates and caring friends.
