Lovingly, we announce the passing of Ms. Dorothy White Salley, 86. A resident of Cottageville, South Carolina and a faithful member of the Jericho United Methodist Church. Her life will be forever cherished by those who will always remember her.
Public visitation will be held on Friday: June 19th at 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the mortuary. We will continue to exercise the recommendations of the C.D.C. along with "Social Distancing" practices and face masks.
Homegoing/Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, June 20th at Ten O'clock in the morning at Jericho United Methodist Church burial will follow immediately at Bennett Cemetery.

Dorothy White Salley was born on January 14, 1934 in Cottageville to Charles and Honor White. She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in Walterboro, SC. She was a lifetime member of Jericho United Methodist Church. Dorothy was very active in her church including the Senior Choir, The Older Adult Ministry and her community throughout her life.
In 1955 she married Harry Salley and together they had seven children.
She is preceded in death by three brothers Arthur White, Thomas White, and Clyde White; two sisters Ruth Daniels and Mabel White; and one grandchild Trenton Miller.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons Harry Salley Jr., and Kyle Salley; five daughters,Valerie Jenkins, Demetra Salley, Sabrina (Michael) Albury, Theon Salley, and Monique Salley and her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Surviving her is also two sisters, Mary Davis and Barbara (Timothy Sr.) Camerl, and one brother, Charles White. She will be very missed by her dearest and loving friend Margaret Farmer. Along with an abundance of nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, cousins, church family, and “adoptive” family members.
