Ms. Dominique Rockell Holmes

Ms. Dominique Rockell Holmes affectionately known as Dee-Dee, daughter of Ransom and Sonya Holmes was born on August 14, 1989, in Walterboro, SC. She departed her earthly life on Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Walterboro, SC. 
 

At an early age she joined Jericho United Methodist Church under the leadership of Rev. Alfonza Jones, Sr. Dominique attended the public schools of Colleton County and was a 2008 graduate of Colleton County High School in Walterboro, SC.

Dominique was preceded in death by her two grandfathers Franklin Holmes and Roosevelt Jenkins and one Grandmother Gloria Williams Jenkins.

Her beautiful memories will be cherished by her parents Ransom and Sonya Holmes of Cottageville, SC, two brothers Charles Williams and Devin (Jas’lyn) Holmes of Summerville SC, three nephews Carson, Chance and Cam’dyn of Summerville SC, her grandmother Pearl Holmes of Cottageville SC, six uncles, Albert (Debbie) Holmes of Ridgeville SC, Carroll (Jacque) Holmes of Summerville SC, Greg (Latrina) Holmes of Cottageville SC, Tyrone (Ericka) Jenkins of Marrow GA, Tony Holmes, Michael (Manekia) Holmes, and Troy Simmons all of Walterboro SC. Seven aunts, Sylvia (Reginald Sr.) McNeil, Cindy (Harry) Green, Lynn Jennings and Jackie (John) Givens all of Walterboro SC, Rosemary Jenkins and Renea (Kenneth) Sampson of East Orange NJ, Machela and Teresa Jenkins of Columbia, SC. Five Grand Aunts Beatrice Williams of Charlotte, NC, Thomasina and Joyce Williams of New Jersey, Mary Ann Williams of Maryland and Beverly Edwards of Cottageville, SC. Three Grand uncles Leroy (Betty) Hudson of Walterboro, SC, James Williams of East Orange NJ, and William Williams of California, four best friends Felicia Golden, Kindrea McNeil, Innocencia and Teance Millidge, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
