Ms. Deloris Lawton Rhodes, daughter of the late Mr. Donald Lawton and Mrs. Catherine Inabinett Lawton, was born May 22, 1955. She entered eternal rest August 6, 2022.
Deloris attended Colleton County public schools and graduated from Walterboro High School in 1973. She was married to Nehemiah Rhodes for 25 years. At an early age she joined Deep Creek Baptist Church, Islandton, SC and later joined and remained a member of Aimwell Presbyterian Church, Neyles, SC where she served as a Deacon.
Deloris was a very loving, caring, and supportive person. She was always willing to help her family and friends in any time of need.
Deloris leaves to cherish her memories her devoted mother and best friend, Catherine Lawton; Three loving sisters Doris Bailey, Mary Sutton, and Donna Frazier (Herbert);
Loving nieces Rhonda Hicks, Monique Williams, Stephanie Frazier, Penelope Kinsey, Burly Francis, Beatrice Jamison, Xandrea Rhodes, Joyce Murray, Jackie Hamilton, Sheryl Kinsey, Shelia Williams, Joanne Johnson, Vida Garrett, Leslie Holmes, Valerie Ancrum, Stacy Bell, Aretha Huggins, Yolanda Jiles, Joetta Washington, Asperita White and Shanika Washington;
Loving nephews Craig Stevens, Jared Frazier, Harold Rhodes, III, Eric Rhodes, Coleman Rhodes.,Kevin Rhodes, Otis Rhodes, Linwood Williams, Jr., James Kinsey, Jr., William Jerod Jiles, Matthew Rhodes, Jr. and Anderson Huggins, Jr.; Loving Aunts Jessie Buckner, Lessie Capers, Ethel Jeter, and Virginia Lawton; Loving Uncles Fred Inabinett and Wilbert Inabinett;
