Ms. Cynthia Diane Padgett, daughter of the late Marie Risher and Glenn Pruitt, Sr.; was born December 16, 1966, in Charleston, South Carolina. As she was reared in Walterboro, she was educated in the public schools of Colleton County and graduated at the age of fifteen from Walterboro High School in 1981. As an adult, Cynthia entered the workforce. For the last seventeen years, she has been employed as a grill operator for Waffle House, most recently in Saint George.
As she was loved and cherished, she was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She loved her children, but her grandchildren meant the world to her. She was an avid cook not only at work, but during her spare time for her family and friends. Her other hobbies also were gardening and bird watching. A very creative, smart and intelligent woman, her memories will forever be cherished by all who loved her.
Left to remember her legacy are: two daughters, Bobbi Crosby and Hollie Bazemore: two sons, Travis Crosby and Tony Padgett: grandchildren, Loralee Weber, Dallas Crosby, Samuel Lineberger, Victoria Lineberger, Dennie Bryan “Mudbug” Gregory and Raymond James “Snuggle Bug” Gregory; sisters, Melanie Blake and Tania Peeples: brothers, Glenn Pruitt, Jr. and Mickey Sams: boyfriend, Bryan Gregory: son in law, Andrew Taylor: along with a multitude of numerous other relatives and friends.
