Ms. Bertha Simmons

"If you should miss me from singing down here, and you cant find me no where; just come on up to bright and glory and Ill tell you the story, of how I made it over."  On Sunday: November 1, 2020, Ms. Bertha Simmons gained her wings of glory, as she bid this earthen vessel a farewell. A resident of Walterboro, SC; Simmons (63) was a loving sister, aunt and more. She was a master cook and her love was demonstrated through her food and teachings of life. 

As Koger's Mortuary Service is in charge of final arrangements, the public visitation will be held on Friday: November 6, 2020, (4:00-7:00 P.M.) at the mortuary.  Celebration services will conclude on Saturday: November 7, 2020, Twelve O' Clock in the afternoon, in the Legacy Chapel of Koger's Mortuary, Reverend Kenneth Carter, eulogist. The interment will follow in the Heavenly Rest Memorial Gardens of Walterboro. (Facial masks along with social distancing practices will be enforced during visitation and final services.)
