Mrs. Sharon Marie (Williams) Files

In the afternoon of Saturday, August 10, 2019, Sharon completed her earthly journey with her family at her bed side. Sharon was born December 10, 1948 to Mr. Charles E. Williams and the late Mrs. Eloise Barnes Williams. She was the oldest of three children. Sharon was also blessed with a beautiful and loving step-mother, the late Mrs. Marie Williams.

Sharon graduated from Julia Richmond Commercial High School, Manhattan, NY, in 1967. In 1971, she received her New York State certification as a Registered Nurse. Sharon used her RN to serve in the states of New York, Maryland, and South Carolina.

Sharon was married to Roy Files of Queens, New York. 

Sharon loved and grew some of the most beautiful house plants. She also enjoyed spending time at the library and was an advent reader.

Sharon was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene (Babba) Williams, cousin/sister Regina Powell, and her only and beloved aunt, Catherine (Aunt Nickie) Chestnut.

Sharon leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories, a devoted father, Charles E. Williams, one brother, Glenn (Gloria Yvonne) Williams both of Walterboro, SC; one sister-in-law, Linda S. Williams of McClellanville, SC. A loyal and dedicated friend, Winston “Moose” Siders, of Walterboro, SC. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews cousins and friends.
