Mrs.Sara Ann (Barrett) Chatham

We announce the passing of Mrs. Sara Ann Chatham . A resident of Walterboro, South Carolina, Mrs. Chatham’s life is celebrated by her husband, children, and all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Sara Ann Chatham was born on July 28,1937 to the late Halman and Minnie Barnett in Duluth, Georgia. She helped raise her brothers and sisters and they lived in Atlanta, Georgia where she attended Briarcliff School. The family later moved to Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Sara met the love of her life at Berkley Lake in Duluth, Georgia and they married six weeks later. To this union one daughter and one son were born.

Left to cherish her memories are husband , Bill Chatham; daughter Stephanie Sanders, son-in- law Todd Sanders; son, Dwayne Chatham , daughter-in-law Celena Chatham; her greatest glory, her grandson Michael Sanders, wife Andrea Sanders; great-granddaughter , Laynie Sanders. Along with a host of nieces nephews , other relatives and friends.
