"God hath not promised skies always blue, Flowered pathway all our lives through. God hath not promised sun without rain, joy without sorrow, peace with pain. But God has promised strength for the day, Rest for the labor, light for the way. Grace for the trials, help from above, Unfailing sympathy and His undying love."

Mrs. Rosemary Burgess, daughter of Mr. Earl Jackson and the late Isabelle Pinckney, was born March 20, 1957, in the Ritter Community of Walterboro, SC.
At an early age, her family relocated to Florida and then later to New York. While residing in New York, she was educated in the public school system 206 and then later at Benjamin Franklin. Avid in her faith, she was a member of the Soul Saving Refuge Center under the pastorate of Pastor E. Williams. She served as an usher and was faithful until her passing.
On August 7, 1987, Rose was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Mr. Samuel Burgess. This union would be blessed with years of love, and five wonderful children.
