The Essence of Her Life
Mrs. Doris Casey Stephens, daughter of the late Clarence & Virginia Bryant Stephens; was born April 14, 1953, in Ruffin, South Carolina. Mrs. Casey attended the public schools of Colleton County. In 1988, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Ralph Casey and to this union five children were united into the family.
Doris was a firm believer in God and a faithful member of Hunter’s Chapel Baptist Church of Ruffin, South Carolina. She loved attending church and would always manage to hear the Word of God in person or even through virtual services. She also possessed a passion for traveling; talking to family and friends on her cell phone; and watching her favorite TV shows. She was loved and cherished by all and ensured that she showed love in all that she said and did.
On Monday: September 26, 2022; our dear mother, grandmother, sister, and so much more; traded her time on earth for eternity with her Heavenly Father. Preceding her in death along with her parents are: one brother, Leroy Stephens and stepdaughter, Melissa Smothers.
