The Reflection of Her Legacy
“A Loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and a loyal friend: Mrs. Caroline Helton Wilder, was called Home by God to receive her wings, during the morning hours of Wednesday: May 3, 2023. The eldest daughter of the late, Solomon Helton, Sr. and Betty Ann Brown, was born November 21, 1967. As a youth she was reared by Mrs. Bertha Jones Helton and received her formal education in the public school system of Colleton County.
Caroline was a true woman of faith and devoted her life to Christ at an early age. As an adult, she became a born-again believer and member of the Sandhill Baptist Church of Walterboro, South Carolina, under the leadership of her amazing Pastor, Reverend Gregory Clayton. She was about the business of the church and served faithfully as an usher alongside her beloved husband, Rodney; ensuring that she greeted each and everyone with a radiant smile.
Caroline believed in true love, she was formerly joined in matrimony to Mr. Randy M. Jamison, and this union would be blessed with one daughter, Phylicia A. Jamison. As time would pass, Caroline would continue and find Mr. Rodney Wilder, and these two would be one, as they were joined in Holy Matrimony on March 24, 2006. This union would be blessed with over seventeen years of love and devotion; along with a set of wonderful twins, Rodney, and Raven Wilder.
To know Caroline was to truly love her. She was a loving woman and never EVER met a stranger. She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest as best as she could, according to the Word of God. We all have lost a huge piece of our hearts, but we will FOREVER, keep her memories, her name, and her legacy, in our hearts.
