Mrs. Bernethel (Wilson) Middleton

Mrs. Bernethel Wilson Middleton, daughter of the late John Henry Wilson and Mary Helen Spells was born on February 23, 1960 in Walterboro South Carolina. She departed this earthly life on December 19, 2022.

To know this virtuous woman was indeed a blessing. She was a true lady, and she demonstrated wisdom, and love through her entire life living.

Preceding her in death along with her parents are husband, Gilbert Middleton. 

Left to cherish her memories are children, Derrick Wilson of Atlanta, GA; Shirley Wilson of Goose Creek, SC; and Freeman Wilson of Walterboro, SC; grandchildren, Shir’mari Ballard , Kasaun Washington, Kamryn Washington, and Devon Wilson; one brother, Troy (Martha) McWilliams of Myrtle Beach, SC; godchildren, Porcha Hampton and her “buddy” Dazmaleek Milbry; best friends who were like sisters, Harriet Hampton, Francis Pringle, and Joyce Wilson, all of Walterboro, SC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
