We sorrowfully announce the passing of Mrs. Ada Wiggins-Grayson as the legacy of her life transitioned into a lifetime of memories on Saturday : January 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Grayson, 70, was a resident and native of Walterboro, South Carolina. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and more to all who knew her.
Public visitation will be held on Friday : January 29, 2021 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
The Celebration of Life will conclude on Saturday : January 30, 2021 ; Eleven O' Clock in the morning in the sanctuary of Faith Church located at 858 Bells Highway in Walterboro, South Carolina.
**Facial masks and social distancing practices will be strictly enforced during visitation and celebration of life services.**
As this family prepares to celebrate the legacy of life of their loved one we ask that you will uplift them in prayers of comfort.
Mrs. Ada Wiggins-Grayson was born on November 25, 1950 in Walterboro, South Carolina to the late Isaac Simmons and Inez Simmons. She departed this life on January 23, 2021 while in her home surrounded by her family.
Ada was a graduate of Colleton County High in 1970. She also furthered her education and graduated from Claflin University in 1986. She was a faithful member of New Life United Methodist Church. Ada was a member of the children ministry, Usher board, & spring and fall festival committee. She retired from the Colleton County School District.
Preceding her in death are son Cedric Wiggins, Sisters Queen Crosby, Bertha Simmons, three brothers Isaac Simmons, Eugene Simmons, and Elijah Simmons.
Left to honor her legacy are husband; Ronald Grayson. One son; Kevin Wiggins. Step-children; Michael Grayson (Natalie), Lamond Grayson (Domonique), April Munson (Michael), 3 granddaughters Iesha Wiggins, Nikkia Wiggins, Kristina Windom and one grandson Montez Wiggins. Nine step-grandchildren. Two sisters; Gloria Marchant (Steve) & Betty Jean Harrell (William). One brother; Edward Simmons (Jeanette). God- daughter; Andrea Singleton/Graham along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
