Mr. Timothy Tyrone (T.T.) Behling

Mr. Timothy Tyrone Behling, son of Mr. Timothy McWilliams & Mrs. Deirdre Lynn Behling Holmes, was born September 16, 1985, in Walterboro, South Carolina.  As a youth, he was educated in the public schools of Colleton County and received his high school diploma in 2003.  Timothy entered the work force and became employed with Sumter Utilities. He later became employed with the South Carolina Department of Transportation and remained for several years. Lastly, he recently became employed with both North Charleston and Wando Terminals as a longshoreman.  

Affectionately known as, “T.T.”, by all his friends and family, he was a remarkable individual. As his family would say, he was a big “Teddy Bear”. He was an avid softball player with the “Get Back Gang” and loved the sport with his whole heart. He also had a true passion for both horse racing and car races.  His true heart string was his family. If you knew him, you would know that his character spoke for him.  

On Saturday; July 23, 2022, Timothy, along with his mother; traded time for eternity. Preceding him in death is grandparents who raised him, Henrietta (Nathaniel) Sanders, and Grandfathers, William Behling and Jim McWilliams; siblings, Jameelah Harrison and Imajea Diamond Holmes. Left on this side to cherish his legacy are father, Timothy McWilliams; Children, Serenity Pinckney, Ty’ Heim Behling, Ty’ Quan Behling, Tim’ Ayjha Behling, Aden Rivers, Ashton Rivers, Timothy Behling, Timiyah Behling, Austin Rivers, and twins (Zakhar’ De’ir and Zakhi Timon Behling) that will arrive in December: grandmother, Margaret Sweat; brothers, James "J.J." (Kiarra) Holmes, Bruce "Kavon" (Jacqueline) Holmes, Christian Holmes, Jakylon Sanders, James Davonte Holmes, Justin McWilliams and Jared McWilliams: one sister, Aaliyah Sanders; cousins that were like siblings, Shaniqua Fishburne, Brittany, Tearra, and Quan Holmes; special friend, Porsharae Jones:  along with a host of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.  

As service arrangements have been updated, please note services will be live-streamed.  At the request of the family, they have requested NO PHOTOS to be taken during any of the final services. Please let us continue to pray much for and with this family, as they journey thru this difficult time.
