Mr. Solomon Wright

1948 ~ 2021 (age 73)

Obituary

Mr. Solomon Wright, son of the late Reverend Cleveland & Lovie Barnett Wright, was born September 17, 1948, in Colleton County. He was educated in the public schools of the area and resided in the White Hall Community his entire life. As he transitioned into his adulthood, he understood that he must provide not only for himself, but for his future family. He was employed with Best Steel for over twenty years,
until his retirement.

As time went by Solomon met the love of his life, Shirley, and they would continue a journey of love. On September 19, 1973, the two became one as they were joined in Holy Matrimony. This union would be blessed with over forty plus years of unity and five wonderful children. Solomon enjoyed being with family. Even more so, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and many other activities, that would not only bring a smile to his face and heart; but brought about a certain sense of peace within himself.

On Sunday, October 17, 2021, while in the comforts of his home, Solomon bid this earthen vessel, farewell. As he has departed from this side, his portraits of his life will forever warm the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
