Mr. SeQuan Lee Griffin, son of Ms. Dawn Mays Scott & Mr. Herman Lee Griffin, was born February 22, 2002, in Walterboro, South Carolina. As a youth he began receiving his formal education in the public schools of Colleton County. During his high school years, SeQuan enjoyed playing sports and was an avid football player. As he stepped into adulthood, SeQuan was employed with Lee Construction as a off road truck driver, alongside his father, Herman.
A man of different hats to so many people, SeQuan was loved. His time on earth seemed brief, but the portraits of his life will forever be remembered. On Friday: December 9, 2022, God being too wise to make a mistake, and too just to be unkind; dispatched his angels as SeQuan went on Home.
Left on this side to cherish his memories are: mother, Dawn Mays Scott of North Charleston, SC; father, Herman Lee Griffin of Walterboro, SC: loving grandmothers, Betty Mays of Ruffin, SC and Brenda Griffin of Walterboro, SC: sisters, Ja’Kayla Washington, Tre’Don Griffin and Teairra Washington, all of Walterboro, South Carolina, and Aleigha and Ariyanna Chisolm both of Yemassee, SC: brothers, Zay’von Griffin, Amerie Griffin and Kameron Griffin, all of Walterboro, SC: special niece and nephew, Khalani Owens and Tyrone Middleton, Jr.: uncles, Keith Griffin of Walterboro, SC, and Malachi Snipes: special cousins, Dominique and Demetrius Sedd: along with a host of numerous other relatives and friends.
We gracefully ask that on behalf of this family: please continue to lift them in prayers of consolation and comfort as they journey through this time of bereavement.
