Mr. Samuel Burgess

I have been young and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is merciful and lendeth, and his seed is blessed. - Psalms 37:25-26

On Sunday: January 10, 2021, Mr. Samuel "Sam" Burgess, traded time for eternity and bid a farewell to his family and friends. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and more; Mr. Sam was a man who loved his family and cherished them dearly. He served not only his family, but served his country well. For his dedicated and honorable service we say, "Thank You"

Walk thru visitation will be held on Friday: January 15, 2021, 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the mortuary. Graveside services with final rites will conclude on Saturday: January 16, 2021 @ Eleven O' Clock in the morning, St. Paul CME Church Cemetery; 7897 Ritter Road, Walterboro, SC 29488, Reverend Satchell Doyle, Pastor. (In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect the public health; facial masks along with social distancing practices will be strongly enforced.) 

As final arrangements have been entrusted to the capable and professional care of Koger's Mortuary Service of Walterboro, SC. We sincerely solicit prayers of consolation for this bereaved family, as they continue to celebrate the life of the dearly departed.
