Mr. Paul Xzavier Pollock, son of the late Mr. Shirley M. Whitfield and Mr. Michael Pollock; was born April 1, 1984, in Frankfort, Germany. Along with his mother, Shirley, Paul returned to their native home of South Carolina; as she completed her tour of duty with the United Stated Armed Forces. As a youth, Paul was educated in the public schools of Colleton County.
Throughout his lifetime, Paul faced many medical adversities; however, it never stopped him from being an extraordinary individual. Paul fully lived his life and never allowed anything or anyone to deter him. He possessed a love for music. His love even led him to “Battle Rap” on occasions and demonstrated his talent and his intelligence with wording.
From a kid until now, Paul loved his family and close friends. He loved hanging out with his cousins laughing, having a good time, and building the bond among the family. Paul’s heart was larger than life, he gave and blessed so many even when he couldn’t afford too. When it came to Paul, there were no strangers, the first time you met him, you built a connection. If he liked you, you knew it, if he didn’t like you; you knew it. He was a real individual and not to mention, he loved talking ample trash.
During the afternoon hours of Wednesday: July 19, approximately three months after the passing of his beloved mother, Paul traded time for eternity as he departed from the earthly shores. A true son, father, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, the many memories of Paul’s life, will comfort all who loved him.
Left to embrace the memories of his life are: father, Michael Pollock: son, Xavier Goodson: brother, David Bennett: sister, Michelle Johnson: aunts, Mozelle Bradford: uncles, Harry Mccalister, Kenneth (Linda) Singleton, Cleland Varn, Reverend Herbert Brown and Pastor Paul (Sheila) Daniels, Sr.: along with a host of numerous loving cousins, other relatives and friends.
