Mr. Paul Nixon, Jr.

Mr. Paul Nixon, Jr., son of Mrs. Cornell Jenkins Nixon and the late Mr. Paul Nixon, Sr.; was born October 15, 1970, in Walterboro, South Carolina.  Educated in the public schools of Colleton County, Paul was a graduate of the Ruffin High School.  Completing his education, Paul entered the workforce into the logging industry and was a heavy equipment operator. 

To know Paul was to love and enjoy life itself.  Paul loved his family and possessed a infectious smile.  He always had a story to tell, and he lived his life to the fullest.  During his spare time, He loved working and observing race cars; as well as going to the racetrack.  Also, he had a definite love and was a die-hard fan of the San Francisco 49ers.

During the early morning hours of Monday: February 13, 2023, Paul departed from this earthly life, while at the Colleton Medical Center.  As his departure leaves a void, his legacy will forever comfort the hearts of all who knew and loved him.  

Paul is preceded in death by his beloved father, along with numerous aunts and uncles. Left to cherish his memories are: mother, Cornell Nixon of Walterboro, SC; loving son, Nicholas Maynard of Walterboro, SC: sisters, Sandra (Kevin) Williams and Kelly Jenkins: one brother, Anthony Jenkins: aunts, Eunice Brunson, Melvine Brunson and Diane Brunson: uncles, Richard Newton, James Williams and Peter (ReMonica) Nixon, Sr.:  nieces, Alethia (Frank) Reddish and Amanda Jenkins:  nephews, Kendall Jenkins, Kelvin Jenkins, Anthony Jenkins, Jr. and Christian Jenkins:  special friends, Trevor Whitfield, Sgt. Joe Tucker, Tony Frasier and Donald Smoak; along with a host of numerous other relatives and friends.
