Mr. Orinthial Demetric Joyner, lovingly known as “Dee”; was born September 4, 1975, to the late, Ms. Fernadine Joyner and Mr. Larry Mosley. Reared in the Hendersonville community of Yemassee, SC; Dee received his formal education in the public schools of Colleton County. As a adult he entered the workforce, and most recently was employed with Clayco Contractors for over thirteen years, until his untimely passing.
If you knew him, you knew he was always smiling, carried himself in a humble way, and looked for the good in everyone. His smile was infectious, and his legacy will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him.
During the evening hours of Wednesday: March 8, 2023; Dee changed from mortal to immortality as he departed from the shores of time. Preceding him in death along with his mother is one sister, Melissa Parker. Left to embrace the cherished reflections of his life are; father, Larry Mosley of Smoaks, SC: two sons, Deandra Mikel of Green Pond, SC and Adonis Joyner of Walterboro, SC: three grandchildren, Deandre Mikel, Jr., Ky’liah Mikel and K’Marianna Mikel, all of Walterboro, SC: special aunt that raised him, Annette Williams of the home: aunt, Cathy Wright of Smoaks, SC: brother, Breyon (Tyrone) West of Charleston, SC: sisters, Lashona (Darius) Matthews of Columbia, SC, Tiwanica (Johnny) Cusack of St. George, SC, Eboni (Chris) Simmons of Smoaks, SC, Nashelle Cusack of Grover, SC and Monsanta Joyner of Charleston, SC: devoted friend, Demetriel Colleton: friend like a brother, Clinton Gant: along with a host of numerous other relatives and friends.
