Mr. Marlon Enrique Wickehem, Sr.

Mr. Marlon Enrique Wickehem, Sr. son of the late, Mrs. Victoria and Mr. Eduardo Wickehem; was born August 31, 1966 in San Jose, Costa Rica.  At the age of eight, the family moved to the United States of America and he began his formal education in Brooklyn, New York.  He later attended the Midwood High School and during his time there, Marlon was a very avid sportsman, especially in football.  Transitioning into manhood, Marlon became employed as a meat cutter. He would remain in this profession for a number of years, and cultivated his career while traveling and working with different places.

In 1997, Marlon then moved to South Carolina. While here, he would be joined in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life, Wakiesha Simmons. This union would be blessed with one son, Marlon, Jr. and he would take and raise his step-daughter, Dariya.  Prior to this union, Marlon was blessed with one son, Alexis Ramirez. Later in life, He was also blessed with one babygirl, Bless Shaw. Never meeting a stranger, Marlon was a phenomenal man. A father, son, brother, uncle and so much more, to know Marlon was to love him. He would help anyone and his children and family were his life.

On Sunday: July, 4, 2021: Marlon departed this earthly life to be joined with his loving mother, Victoria as she preceded him in death.  Left to cherish his memories are: Loving father, Eduardo Wickehem, Sr.: Children; Alexis Ramirez, Marlon Wickehem, Jr., Bless Shaw and Dariya Simmons: Brothers, Eduardo (Katia) Wickehem, Jr. and Alberto (Ayza) Wickehem, Sr.: one sister, Emma Campbell: sister in laws, Sharon Simmons and Alicia (Ryan) North: Three special cousins,  
Sarita M Fairclough, Yajaira Carguill and Calvina Carguill: along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
