Mr. Lewis Brown, Jr., son of the late Mr. Lewis Brown, Sr. and Lucille J. Bowers-Brown, was born on October 28, 1962 in Yemassee, South Carolina. He was one of seven children. Lewis was a resident of the Jonesville Community of Yemassee, South Carolina.
Lewis, affectionately known as “Squally D.” was educated in the public schools of Colleton County. Lewis graduated from Walterboro High School. In life Lewis was employed with the Bishop’s Body Shop and later Masterbend both of Walterboro, South Carolina. A loving father, brother, uncle and so much more; his memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who love him.
Lewis peacefully traded time for eternity on Sunday December 17, 2023. Along with his parents Lewis is preceded in death by two siblings. He leaves to cherish his loving memories three sons; Justin Marshall Brown, Skye Aaron Brown, and Nicholas Braden Brown. One grandson; Jamoriay Brown, siblings; Diane Brown, Don Brown, Harold Bowers; and Hazel Washington. one aunt; Marshall Colleton, one uncle; Robert Colleton, Jr., and a host of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Final arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date.
