Mr. LaMontre T. Green

Mr. LaMontre Green, son of Ms. Ashlee Pinckney and Mr. Laimont Green; was born August 21, 2002, at the Colleton Medical Center of Walterboro, South Carolina.  Receiving his early education in the public schools of Colleton County, LaMontre was a very active young man and very involved in sports. During his high school years, he loved and excelled in football, modeling himself in the footsteps of his dad and late uncle, Stephen.  Receiving his high school diploma, LaMontre was a graduate of the Colleton County High School, Class of 2021.  He decided to continue and furthered his education and enrolled into courses at the SC State University of Orangeburg, SC.  

Even though he was young, he believed that God was the Creator and Giver of life.   At an early age, Tre accepted the Lord and became a member of the Soul Saving Refuge Center of Walterboro, SC, under the leadership of Pastor Eunice Williams.  

As Lamontre transitioned from a child into a man, he developed his own way of life. He currently was employed as a stocker for WalMart, and gave his all and all. Not only was he a hard worker, but he was a dedicated and devoted father to his princess, Zhurri.  She was his heart and the joy of his life, and he was a true, “Girl Dad”.

Affectionately known as “Tre”, he was loved by all whom he met.  Ironically, Tre preferred to be to his self a lot of times.  If he was not with his daughter, he was out enjoying life with his family and friends, OR: he was spending time on his Youtube blog, just being him.  If “Humble” was a person, that person was, Tre!

During the morning hours of Saturday: February 18, 2023; Tre transitioned from the shores of time, to join his Savior and meet his heavenly Father. Preceding him in death are: beloved grandmother, RoseMary Burgess; grandfather, Samuel Burgess; uncle, Stephen Pinckney: and one god-mother, Antwanette Smith.

Left on this side to embrace the portraits of his life are: mother, Ashlee Pinckney: father, Laimont Green; daughter, Zhurri Melani Green: Grandmother, Shirley Ann Wiggins: Grandfather, Curtis Green: Bonus Parents, Ernest Chapman and Claire Mangum: siblings, Zaniyah, Ernest, Jaylen, Brylyn, Cayson and Tristen: aunts, Brittany Burgess, Shania W. (Karnell) Ferguson, Lynetta Green, Icey Isaac and Melinda Green: uncles, Kentrell Jackson, Keith Wiggins, Jersey (Tysheika) Green, Darien Green, Curtis Wigginsand Jermain Green: two god-mothers, Ta’Cora Pinckney and Penny (Randy) Gantt: along with a host of bonus sisters and brothers, other relatives, and friends.
