Mr. James Ancrum, son of the late Christopher Ancrum, Jr. and Jenny Johnson; was born on August 27, 1954, in Charleston, South Carolina. He received his education in the public schools of Charleston County. James was a family man; he never met a stranger. Anyone who he encountered fell in love with him and would never forget who he was. Affectionately known as “Judge”, the smiling face and love that he always demonstrated, will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
On Friday October 28, James, departed from this earthly life, in Ravenel, South Carolina. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by, siblings; Neomi (E.W.) Creel and Eloise Carroll. Left to cherish his memories are his siblings: Earl Ancrum, Christopher Ancrum III, Richard Ancrum, Benjamin Ancrum, Raymond Ancrum, Betty Ancrum; along with a host of numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
