PRECIOUS MEMORIES

In the morning hours of Saturday July 30th, 2022, at the Colleton Medical
Center, Walterboro, SC, Mr. Jack Mitchell, III quietly moved from these
mortal shores to his eternal slumber freed from the cares and struggles of
this world.

Mr. Jack Mitchell, III, son of the late Sadie Brown Mitchell and the late
Deacon Jack Mitchell, Jr, was born on March 5, 1949, in Colleton County,
SC. He was married to Martha Joe Clark Brown. Jack was the fifth of fifteen
siblings and resided in the Jonesville community amidst a large loving
family.

Jack attended the public schools Colleton County, SC. Afterward he
journeyed to New York where he was gainfully employed as truck driver for
several years later returning home, where he with his family helped care for
his parents until they passed.

Jack’s love for his family and community was his strength. His precious
memories will be remembered forever and his fondness for family and
the community will forever be in the hearts of his loved ones.

Preceding him in death along with his parents, are siblings, Janie Young, Ruby Mitchell, and McAuthur Mitchell . 

On this side of eternity he leaves his wife Martha Joe Mitchell,
 a son, Nicholas Jack Mitchell, NY, eight:
sisters, Carrie Williams, Anna Bell (Dea. McAuthur) Brown, Rosa Lee
(Willie) Singleton, Lorine (Rev. Kardell) Ferguson, Sr., Cynthia Mitchell, all,
of Yemassee, SC. Sadie M. Brown of Ridgeland, SC, Annette (Marion)
Young of Sheldon, SC, Patricia Butler of Beaufort SC, three brothers
Henry Mitchell of Irvington NJ, Herman Mitchell of Yemassee, SC, and
Sherman (Denise) Mitchell of Walterboro, SC. One aunt, Hattie Woods of Brooklyn, NY, nephew and caregiver, Reginald A. Brown of Yemassee, SC; mother in law, Mattie Clark of Walterboro, SC; brothers-in-law, Freddy Cuthberth of Yemassee, SC and Rolin Clark, Jr. of Buffalo, NY; sister-in-law Gail Clark of Buffalo, NY; sixteen nephews, twelve nieces,
and a host of grandnieces, grandnephews other relatives and sympathizing friends.
