Mr. Harry W. Gadson was born on November 29, 1949, to the late Melvin Gadson Sr. and Haridell Watkins-Gadson. Harry departed this life on January 4, 2024, in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Harry was educated in the New York Public School Systems, after high school he enlisted in the United States Navy. After serving in the United States Navy, Harry married the love of his life, Rebecca (Becky G) and to this union two children were born. Harry worked as an Engineer and retired with over 40 years of service with Con Edison. Harry was loved by many wherever he went, city to city or state to state.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, wife and five brothers, Melvin, Frank, Henry, Raymond, and Ronald.
He leaves to cherish his memories two children, Jemal Gadson of Elmira, NY and NyKeira (Randy) Quick of Winston Salem, NC; three sisters, Sharon Gadson of New York City, Wendy (Marvin)Turner of Hazelhurst, GA and Dr. Tajuana Gadson-Miles of Jacksonville, FL; three sisters-in-law, Violet Gadson of North Charleston, SC, Toni Williams of Mocksville, NC and Tawanna Thompson of Winston Salem, NC; one special niece, Nakisha Gadson of North Charleston, SC; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
