Mr. Harold Levant Sr. Obituary

Mr. Harold Levant, the son of the late Minnie and Elder Reed Levant was born on February 18, 1939, in Colleton County. He attended public schools of Colleton County until he relocated to Bronx, New York, where he worked as a truck driver for the Wonder Bread Company for 40 years until he retired. Following retirement, he moved back home and worked for Cherokee Plantation until he was no longer able to work.

He was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Patricia Gale Pennix Levant. To this union two sons were born. John preceded him in death. He departed this life on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Trident Medical Center.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his son Harold Levant, Jr. of Bronx, New York; step-daughter Darlene Thompson of Beckley, West Virginia; one daughter-in-law, Maria Levant of Bronx, New York; and grandchildren, Davon Levant of N.C; Destiny, Infinity, and Bishop Levant all of Bronx, New York; Andre Pennix of Beckley, West Virginia; Heidi Capestany of Bronx, New York; one sister, Amanda Levant of Hendersonville, S.C; one brother, Arthur Levant of Hendersonville, S.C.; four sisters-in-law, Ellaree Levant of Columbia, S.C., Cynthia Levant of Charleston, S.C., Gloria Taylor of Westminster, California, and JoAnn Lewis of Poughkeepsie, New York; one brother-in-law, Larry Pennix of Mullens, West Virginia. A devoted and dedicated lifelong friend, Frank Perry of Waterboro, S.C. along with a host of other family and friends

A walk-thru visitation will be held on Friday: July 2, 2021 1:00-6:00 PM at the Mortuary. Celebration of Life will conclude on Saturday: July 3, 2021 Twelve O' Clock in the afternoon in the Legacy Chapel of Koger's Mortuary.

(In effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19 and protect the health of the public, a facial mask will be required during the visitation and  services).

As the family prepares to bid fare to their loved one, we ask that you continue to keep them uplifted in prayer, comfort, and support.
