Mr. Esau Levi Singleton, son of the late Phillip Singleton, Sr. and Anna Lee Jones Singleton, was born September 9, 1953, in Walterboro, South Carolina. At the age of sixty-nine, during the evening hours of Friday: July 14, 2023, shortly after being surrounded by his loved ones; Esau departed from the shores of time, while in the Summerville Medical Center. He received his formal education and graduated from the Colleton County School System.
At an early age, he desired to fall into the footsteps of his father, to become a brick mason. Throughout all his years of laying brick, he took pride in his work. Esau even ironed his work clothes, right before going to work.
August 1, 2022, Esau rededicated his life to Christ. He attended Holy Temple Church of Walterboro, South Carolina. The last time he attended church, he was very weak, but determined and driven to press forward to the House of God.
