Mr. Edgar L. ("BoBo") Wright

Edgar Lemont Wright fondly called Bobo by family and friends the eldest son of Edgar and Eva Wright Was born April 16, 1976 in Colleton County Hospital in Walterboro, South Carolina. He entered his eternal rest on August 13, 2021.

Edgar grew up in White Hall, South Carolina. He attended Jonesville Elementary School in Yemassee South Carolina and graduated from Walterboro High School in Walterboro South Carolina. Edgar was a member at Redemption Center, church. Edgar worked as a Manager at Publix Corporation in various locations in South Carolina and Georgia for over 23 years.

Edgar leaves behind his loving wife Melva Wright whom he entered into holy matrimony with on August 4th, 2001; three beautiful daughters, Emoni, Janaya and Essence Wright, one granddaughter Avah Wright whom he adored to the moon and back. A loving family his parents Edgar & Eva Wright, a sister Christine Breland of North Carolina, his younger brother Gerard Wright of Walterboro South Carolina and special sister Nicole Desvarieux. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Patricia Brown, Father-in-law Melvin Brown, sisters-in-law Delorie Brown & Dominique Brown.

Edgar was the loving uncle to Tyreek Middleton, Tyree Johnson, Jaheim Breland, Aiden Timpson, Zipporah Brown, & little Eva Wright. Edgar was such a caring young man full of life and he would want those who have passed on to be with the Lord during his time and his life in so many ways to be remembered; his youngest brother Jermaine Wright his grandparents The Reverend Cleveland and Lovie Wright, Eshmell and Mamie McPherson, and a host of aunts and uncles that preceded him in death.  Edgar also has left behind numerous loving uncles, aunts, and cousins who he loved dearly and one devoted friend Mike Singleton and a special aunt Maggie.

We are reminded that God will continue to be our very present help in the time of trouble: let us continue to lift prayers of consolation and comfort on behalf of this family as they transition through this difficult time.
