Mr. Eben Breland

Mr. Eben Breland, son of the late John Wesley & Willie Mae Hall Breland, was born March 28, 1959, in Colleton County. He received his formal education in the local public schools of Colleton County. At an early age, Eben joined Sandhill Baptist Church of Walterboro. As time went on, he later joined Praise Tabernacle Church of Ruffin, South Carolina. A man of life and love, he was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late, Sereta Brannum. Affectionately known to many as, “Jitta and Kevin”, Eben was a man of love. He lived his life to the fullest, and never met a stranger.

On Sunday: August 22, 2021, Eben departed this earthly life to be joined with his Lord and Savior. His departure leaves a void, but his life will be a forever comfort to all who knew and loved him. Along with his parents and wife, he is also preceded in death by one son, Toney Breland and five brothers. Left to embrace his memories are: children, Kelvin (Tabitha) Breland, Stephanie Breland and Deneta Brannum: siblings, Herman Breland, Lorrine Breland, Heartha Ferguson, Bessie Hambly, Joe Willie (Doris) Breland, Pollie Bellinger, Melvin (Tammy) Breland, Barbara (Joseph) Jones, Mary (Jeff) Breland and Clara (Johnny) Hodges; seven grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
