Mr. Deon Jamal Ferguson

During the evening hours of Monday: February 8, 2021: A heart of gold stopped beating and the hands of a loving husband, devoted father, humbled son and comical brother, were laid to rest.  Mr. Deon Jamal Ferguson, 31, a former resident of the Roadside Community of Yemassee, South Carolina.  has left an impact on each and everyone of his beloved family and friends.  Affectionately known to many as, "Mally"; he possessed skills like no other that set him aside from many. A clown at heart, yet a wise and humbled soul, his memory will be a beacon of light to those who mourn his passing. 

As the final arrangements has been entrusted to the capable and professional care of Koger's Mortuary Service: there will be a walk thru visitation conducted on: Tuesday: February 16, 2021, 4:00-7:00 P.M. There will be a celebration of life service held on Wednesday: February 17, One O' Clock in the afternoon, Faith Church, 858 Bells Hwy. Walterboro, SC 29488.  The interment will immediately follow in the Mount Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery, 22 Jonesville Ave. Yemassee, SC 29945. (In an effort to protect public health and to reduce the spread of COVID-19, facial masks and social distancing practices will be strongly enforced.

We conclude these announcements by asking that you would continually lift this bereaved family in your prayers. The days ahead will not be easy, but we know that with God all things will and are possible to those who believe in Him.
