Mr. Christopher Mitchell

Mr. Christopher Bertrand Taylor Mitchell was born on November 18, 1976 in New Orleans, LA to the late Mr. Bertrand Reason Taylor and the late Angelette Mitchell Taylor.

Christopher was educated in the public schools of Colleton County, and graduated from Walterboro High School with the class of 1994.

Christopher was preceded in death by his mother Angelette, his father Bertrand, grandfathers, James Mitchell Sr. and Bertrand Taylor, Grandmother Mary H. Taylor,  Aunt Sybil T. Pierce, and Uncle James Mitchell Jr.

On Thursday, August 19, 2021 Christopher answered the master’s call and went peacefully with the lord.

He leaves to cherish his only daughter Jamaica Mitchell-Jenkins of Walterboro, SC; one grandson Braydon Grant of Walterboro, SC; Grandmother Dorothy Mitchell of Lake Charles, LA, three aunts, Cecelia Bartie of Lake Charles, LA; Sharon E. Taylor and Allison T. Barthelemy of New Orleans, LA; a Special bonus mother and father James and Vera Walker of Tampa FL; special brothers: James Walker of Atlanta, Ga and Darwin (Danielle) Walker of New Jersey; a special sister Morgan (Antione) Nesmith of Tampa, FL along with a host of loving relatives, friends and co-workers.
