Mr. Carl C. ("C C") Ellison

Respectfully, we honor the life of Mr. Carl C. Ellison, 57, of Beaufort, South Carolina.  Carl’s life began September 26, 1961, in Newport News, VA. He was the son of Mr. Elijah Ellison and Mrs. Mary G. Ellison. Carl was educated in the Newport News School District and New York School District. His careers expanded in many different areas. While in New York, he embarked on becoming a professional meat cutter and working with the Rotundo Sanitation Company. Relocating to Walterboro, he became a security guard with Island Club House Security Co. of Hilton Head, SC. For the next ten years, Carl would be faithful to his job, until his health began to decline. Carl was joined in Holy Matrimony to Anissa Gardner on July 15, 2017. This union would be blessed with love and devotion, until his passing. Carl also loved the Lord. He often fellowshipped with the Cumberland United Methodist Church and Faith Memorial Baptist Church.On Monday: September 2, 2019 at 10:10 a.m.; Carl gained his eternal rest and bid this earthen realm a farewell, while being surrounded by his family and friends, at the Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Left to cherish his fond memories of his life are: loving wife, Anissa (Ann) Ellison: parents, Mary G. Ellison & Elijah Ellison: Parents-in-law Marion & Marie Jenkins: children; Carl Clairborne, II, Jalessa, Tianna, David, LaTrese, Whitney, Asia, Shauntell, and Marquise: siblings, Elijah W. Ellison, Jerry Ellison, Allen Ellison, Avis D. Hardy, Robert Hardy, Emmanuel Hunt and Jhamonica Brown: sister in law; Diane S. Ellison and Tonia Hardy: brother in law; William E. Gardner and Stacy Golden: aunts, Norene E. Motte, Myrtle Alston, Sandra (Mack) Washington, and Carolyn (Lewis) Winn: one uncle, Clarence E. Whiting: Grandchildren, Carl Clairborne, III, Tamoria, Shaun, Janelle, T, Justin, Elijah, Sarah, Jaden, Kaydn, Xavier, Carmello, Kyanna, Samaih, Breonna, D’Clavon, Richard, Tamara, Sonara, Destiny, Skylar, Gabriella, Tania, Tevin, Kamryn, and Zion: Special friends, Renee B. Ellison, Sonya Ellison Grant, Randy Brown, Greg Primus, Robert Dunn, Antonio Young,Herbert Washington, Pete Washington, and Herold Aikens “the cookout cook” along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carl will be missed but never forgotten. We will always love you!
