Andy Devell Salley was born September 29, 1978, in Walterboro, S.C. He was the son of Clamana (Peaches) Gail Salley. The last chapter of Andy's life closed peacefully on Friday, October 7, 2022, in Columbia, SC when he took the hand of our Lord and Savior and ascended into eternal life.
Andy attended Ruffin High School, Ruffin, SC and South Carolina State University, Orangeburg, SC. He loved the Lord and never missed an opportunity to talk about the goodness of God. He made an impressive impact on many lives through his laughter, encouragement and by sharing his love of God with those he interacted.He joined Springtown United Methodist Church at an early age and sang on the choir.
Andy is preceded in death by his adopted parents, Clarence Salley and Clair Williams Salley, three adopted brothers, Murray Williams, Eddie "Rudolph" Salley and Sylvester "Syl" Salley; two sisters in-law, Adrianne Salley and Mary Magdaline "Mag" Williams.
He is survived by his brother; Quinton (Delores) Salley, Nephew, Quonte Salley, Aunt Evelyn Salley, adopted brothers Harry (Winnie) Williams, Joe (Virginia) Salley, Clarence (Marilee) Salley Jr., and Gerald Salley; lifelong friends Sheree Nelson, BJ Williams, Logan Williams, Lonnie (Tiffany) Graham, David Robinson, Morris (Latoya) Houser, Brandice Wright and Margo Williams and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
