Mother Sadye N. Fisher

Mother Sadye Nathalee Miller Fisher was born July 8, 1942, in Cottageville, South Carolina to the late Lucious and Emily Miller. She was 5th out of 6 children all whom preceded her in death. She met, fell in love with and married the late Lewis Fisher, Jr.

Mrs. Fisher was educated in the Colleton County Public School System. She was a homemaker to her family.

Mrs. Fisher joined Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She Served as a choir director for the senior choir, Deaconess and later became the Mother of the Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter; Gwendolyn Fisher Crosby, three grand-daughters, Sonya (Jermain) Jenkins, of Walterboro, SC, Gwendolyn Oliver, of Dorchester, SC and Michele R. Oliver of Round O, SC; 11 great-grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, A son-in-law, Nathaniel Oliver, a host of honorary grandchildren, and great grandchildren, 1 special son, 2 goddaughters, along with a  host of nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends.
