Mother Ruthie Lee (Perkins) Reid

"Dont grieve for me, for now I'm free; I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and I left it all!"  On Thursday: August 27, during the early hours of the morning. Mother Ruthie Lee Reid uttered these words, as she gained her wings. A former resident and native of Walterboro, South Carolina; Mother Reid , 89, has left a legacy of love and memories to her beloved children, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  

Public visitation will be held on Tuesday: September 1, 2020 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Isaiah United Methodist Church. 3687 Cooks Hill Road, Walterboro, South Carolina. Life celebrations will conclude on Wednesday: September 2, 2020 @ Twelve Noon, Legacy Chapel of Koger's Mortuary, Pastor Henry Ravenel, Eulogist. The interment will immediately follow the service at the St. Paul CME Church Cemetery, 7897 Ritter Road, Walterboro, South Carolina. The services will be  live streamed via our Facebook page.
