Mother Readel (Maine) Murray

"As there are no just right words to say, that  can describe a life lived so well, We are grateful for your legacy, and the stories you would often tell. Telling us of His grace and how He brought you through; those memories will keep us, as we now cherish you. Celebrating your life won't be easy; but it will be a joy to have known; that you've lived one hundred and eight years of life, and knowing God called his angel home. So sleep on Mother Murray and fly High, for one day we will meet you in heaven beyond the skies."

To God Be The Glory, for the blessed years of the life of Mother Readel Maine Murray. As she has left a remarkable impact on the life of each and everyone who she came in contact with, Mother Murray's name has rang in places where she has never imagined. A matriarch of her family, A "mother" to her community, and a church "Mother" of the Mount Sinai Baptist Church; she resided in the Big Estate Community of Yemassee, South Carolina. As she was "Mother", she lived a life of humbleness, grace, and a true demonstration of  living a life that was pleasing in the sight of God. 

Public visitation will be conducted on, Sunday: October 4, 2020; 3:00-6:00 P.M. in the edifice of Mount Sinai Baptist Church: 21 Booker T. Washington Circle, Yemassee, SC 29945, Reverend Shannon N. Deloach, Host Pastor.  Graveside services will conclude on Monday: October 5, 2020, eleven o' clock in the morning; Holy Trinity United Methodist Church, 1649 River Rd. Yemassee, SC 29945.  (Facial masks and social distancing practices will be required and enforced for public visitation and graveside services.)

As this family is forever grateful for all acts of kindness that have been shown to them thus far; they ask that you would continue to lift them in your prayers as they prepare to celebrate her legacy and continue to cherish her memories.
