Louise B. Ravenell was born April 30, 1921, to the late John and Isabel Brown. She departed this earthly home on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Louise was born and raised in Hendersonville, South Carolina. She attended Colleton County Public School. She moved to New York City where she lived for years before returning to live in Walterboro.
Louise worked for a period of her life in the hospitality industry where she enjoyed being of service to others as well as providing a cleaning service to families, she was close to.
She was member of Adams Memorial Temple under the leadership of the late Pastor JoAnn Youmans.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and siblings, Reily Brown, Ada Bradom, Louis Brown, Ezekiel Brown, Queen Esther Fields, Susan B. Walters and Jack Brown.
Louise leaves behind to mourn a niece and caregiver, Elnora Ladson; niece, Queen Esther Coaxum; nephew, Frederick Brown (Redelma) and a personal friend, Joanne Hodges who assisted her over the years, along with several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
