Mother Georgia (Bodison) Wilson

Mother Georgia Bodison Wilson daughter of the late Weston Bodison and Carrie Bell Bodison Johnson was born on December 30, 1926 in Walterboro, SC. She peacefully departed this earthly life on Thursday November 3, 2022 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 

Georgia received her formal education in the public school system of South Carolina. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Herbert Lee Wilson on September 11, 1942 and to this union seven children were born. Mother Wilson was a very spiritual and God Fearing woman who loved the Lord. She was the Mother of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cottageville, SC for many years. Mother Wilson will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her as she was admired by many. 

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband are children; Robert Lee Wilson, Sammy Joe Wilson, James Wilson, and Tony Wilson; siblings, Robert Bodison, Thomas Bodison, Harry Lee Bodison, Weston Bodison Jr., Mary Lane Bodison, Mildred Bodison, and Yvette King.

Left to cherish her loving memories are children, Martha L. Bowman of Walterboro, SC; John Wilson of Patterson, NJ; Annie Gus Gilliam of Milwaukee, WI; sister-in-law, Bernetta Wilson of Walterboro, SC; special grandson, Timmie Lee Bodison (Lori) of Haines City, FL, along with a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
