During the morning hours of Monday: July 31, 2023, while being surrounded by her loving family and friends: our dear matriarch, Mother Anna Sheperd White, quietly slipped from the shores of time as she entered her home beyond the skies.
Mother Anna White, the eldest of eight born to the late Mary Sheperd King; was born April 14, 1932, in White Hall community of Green Pond, South Carolina. She received her early education from the public-school systems of Colleton County. Having a desire for more, Mother White even took classes at night, to ensure that she received the best education possible.
Anna was formerly joined in Holy Matrimony to the late, Mr. Dulie Murray White, affectionately as, “Buster”. This union would be blessed with eight wonderful children. A beloved homemaker, she devoted her entire life to ensuring that her children were brought up in the right way, and that they always had the necessities of life and more.
As a child she was brought up in the teachings of God but had not fully committed her life to Him. As an adult, she experienced her “Damascus Road” encounter with Jesus; where He gave her a sobered mind and a love that would surpass all understanding. Anna held fast to her newfound love and belief in Christ Jesus, she found the truth, that new life, and she never let go.
Preceding her in death along with her beloved mother are her: father, Mr. Walter Middleton: beloved husband, Dulie Murray "Buster" White: one daughter, Ledora Middleton (Eddie) Scott: sister, Margaret Spradley: brother, Silas King; and stepbrothers Walter, Ronald, and Norman Middleton.
Left on this side to embrace the fond memories of her legacy are, daughters; Deloris “Shirley” Cox, Elder Rosa Lee Manigo, Katie (Pastor Kenneth) Reed and Eunice W. McDaniel: sons; Elder Joseph S. White, Abraham White, and Raymond L. White: sisters; Vernice Wright Brooks, Katie Britten (Edward) Wilkins and Janie King Martin: brothers; Paul King and James King: great-grandson reared in the home, Shawn Cox: step-sisters, Shirley, Gloria and Debra Middleton, and Lorraine Anthony: twenty-five grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; twenty-one great great-grandchildren; along with a host of numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
