Mirza was born in Sinaloa, Mexico, on September 4th, 1963. She was the youngest daughter of Arminda and Enrique Bodart. She was a happy and loved child.
Mirza growing up was very much loved by all her family, she had an optimistic and pleasant spirit, loved being surrounded by kids of all ages specially by her nieces and nephews, loved bringing happiness to those around her, loved to cook, loved to host for the family on special holidays. She remained happy even up to her last day, which ended sadly on Friday, August 30th, 2024.
During a family wedding in Mexico, she met brother Russel Chandroo. The relationship blossomed, and it led to a bond that lasted over 40rty years. This blessing brought two wonderful daughters, Monamaria Bodart Chandroo and Ede Bodart Chandroo, and three beautiful grandkids, Monique, Riley, and Emma.
Mirza loved fashion very much. From a young age, she assisted her mother in their family-owned retail clothing business, and as an adult, while living in Los Angeles, California, she worked for many years in the garment industry. She would love selecting fabric color and the print. She had a superb taste in contrast and had special attention to detail.
For the last three years, she attended Lighthouse Tabernacle Church in Green Pond, South Carolina. She loved what was preached, grateful to be part of a spiritual community and be surrounded by those with strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
She will be missed dearly by all.
